Facebook Page Supporting Rodeo Clown Going Viral
Tuffy Gessling is the rodeo clown who exercised his (and our) First Amendment right to make fun of an American president, in this case at the Missouri State Fair. For that, he was fired from his current gig and, worse, banned for life from the Missouri State Fair rodeo. Somehow, while we weren’t looking President Obama morphed into King “George III” Obama about whom nothing ill may be spoken for fear of terrible reprisals.
Americans aren’t quite sure yet how to respond to this unconstitutional indignity, but an early sign of their outrage is the fact that, within slight more than one day, the “Support Rodeo Clown Tuffy Gessling” Facebook page got more than 45,000 “likes.”
